Monstrum

The Game

Monstrum is a tabletop roleplaying game set in a grimdark, gothic world inspired by games like Dark Souls. It can be played Solo, or with up to 4 players and a GM. 

In the game, you create your character (Slayer) as well as monsters using a set of d66 tables. Answer some questions around the bonfire to establish the scene, and battle your creations in the field of combat. 

The game has a collection of Items that players can use to overcome challenging beasts, as well as The Eye mechanic that provides an extra dimension to combat and player cooperation.

In this world of ill-gotten kings and other-worldly monsters, it's up to you and your fellow slayers to save the Citadel from the encroaching dark. Collect trophies off of the creatures you fell, and upgrade your gear for the next formidable opponent.

Running on Pipsqueak

Monstrum  runs on the Pipsqueak System, designed for the game War of the Pips. It's a OSR-style system that leans on player agency and a sandbox world to explore.
